Digital Products — General Policy
AI Resume Optimizer Pro is a digital product delivered instantly upon purchase. Due to the nature of digital goods — where the product cannot be "returned" in a traditional sense — all sales are generally final.
When We Issue Refunds
We will issue a full refund in the following cases:
- Technical failure: The license key does not activate Pro features after purchase, and we cannot resolve it within 48 hours.
- Duplicate charge: You were charged more than once for the same product.
- Product not as described: A core advertised feature is non-functional and we cannot fix it within a reasonable timeframe.
When We Do NOT Issue Refunds
- You changed your mind after purchase
- You purchased by mistake (please review before checking out)
- You no longer need the product
- You found a free alternative
- You disagree with the pricing after purchase
- You did not read the product description before buying
How to Request a Refund
Email support@resumeaiopt.com with:
- Your license key or order reference number
- The email address used during purchase
- A brief description of the issue
We respond to all refund requests within 2 business days.
Payment Disputes (Chargebacks)
If you initiate a payment dispute (chargeback) with your bank or card issuer without contacting us first, we reserve the right to:
- Immediately revoke your license key
- Contest the dispute with payment records and purchase logs
- Permanently ban your account from future purchases
We encourage you to contact us before filing a dispute — we'll work with you to resolve any issue.
Chargeback Prevention
To reduce payment disputes, we recommend:
- Try the free tier (3 optimizations/day) before purchasing Pro
- Review the feature comparison table to understand what Pro includes
